The Brewers are going to the World Series, and in Cosmic Chrome the Milwaukee spot is the Misiorowski spot
Milwaukee swept the Dodgers for its first World Series trip since 1982. In CSL's 2026 Topps Cosmic Chrome Baseball break, Jacob Misiorowski is on 7 of the Brewers' 9 hits.
Lead
Jacob Misiorowski put up a regular season built for the top of leaderboards: 16–5, a 1.80 ERA and 252 strikeouts, with the MLB lead in ERA, strikeouts, WHIP (0.80), FIP (2.17) and opponents' average (.157). MLB.com calls the 24-year-old the NL Cy Young frontrunner. October has been quieter for him. He hasn't finished five innings in either postseason start. Pat Murphy, on the workload: "His innings are up to almost 190 this year. That's way over what he's ever done." Now he gets a long rest, because Milwaukee swept the Dodgers and won Game 4, 6–4, and is going to the World Series for the first time since 1982. If you're claiming Milwaukee in Chrome Spot Lab's 2026 Topps Cosmic Chrome Baseball break, you're mostly claiming Miz.
Why the Brewers spot
This Brewers team won the pennant without leaning on one name. Garrett Mitchell's homer leading off the sixth put them ahead in Game 4, David Hamilton added one in the ninth, and Aaron Ashby got the last nine outs of a 6–4 comeback from 4–0 down. "We've come close a bunch of times to getting to this point," Christian Yelich told MLB.com.
The card board runs the other way. On CSL's Cosmic Chrome board, Milwaukee has 9 hits, and Misiorowski is on 7 of them: the Constellation variation, all three Brewers case hits (Cosmic Dust, Planetarium, Supernova), and three autographs. Jackson Chourio, who caught the pennant-clinching final out in left-center, has the other two: solo Extraterrestrial Talent and Stellar Stars autos. The Star Clusters dual auto is the one they share. Two players carry every Milwaukee hit. A Brewers claim isn't about depth. It's about Miz showing up.
For scale, on the same board the Dodgers team Milwaukee just swept has 34 hits, the Guardians 10 and the Rays 7.

Context under the feel (receipted only)
The Brewers trailed 4–0 at Dodger Stadium, scored two in the fourth and two in the fifth, then went ahead on Mitchell's leadoff homer in the sixth. Hamilton homered in the ninth, and the bullpen kept the Dodgers scoreless over the final seven innings. MLB.com says the four-run comeback tied the largest to clinch an LCS. It's the franchise's first National League pennant. Its only other World Series, in 1982, came as an American League club and ended in a seven-game loss to St. Louis.
Chourio caught the final out in left-center. MLB.com calls him the Brewers' superstar, and notes he's hitting .171 with a .554 OPS this postseason. That says as much about the rest of the lineup as it does about him. Yelich is 7-for-24 with three RBIs and two steals.
World Series Game 1 is Friday, Oct. 23, in Milwaukee. MLB.com says Misiorowski will "presumably" take the ball for it, on 11 days' rest.
