Jackson Chourio had four hits by the fifth. In Cosmic Chrome, he's the other half of the Brewers spot

Chourio went 4-for-5 in World Series Game 3, one shy of the World Series single-game record. In CSL's 2026 Topps Cosmic Chrome Baseball break, every Brewers board hit that isn't Misiorowski's is his.

Lead

Jackson Chourio started Monday night with a single to center and had four hits before the fifth inning was over. A single in the first, another in the third, then a single and a stolen base in the fifth, when he scored on Brice Turang's two-run single. He finished the inning with a double to right that drove in the last of Milwaukee's eight runs. That made it 4-for-5 in a 10–1 win over the Rays, one shy of the World Series single-game record shared by Paul Molitor (Game 1, 1982) and Albert Pujols (Game 3, 2011), per MLB.com.

"I was ready, and I wanted to win today," Chourio said. "I knew that us winning this game today, it was a big one and it was going to be a big one for us."

The Brewers lead the Series 3–0 and are one win from the first World Series title in franchise history. Game 4 is tonight, 7 p.m. CT on FOX. If you claim Milwaukee in Chrome Spot Lab's 2026 Topps Cosmic Chrome Baseball break, you're claiming two players and nobody else. Jacob Misiorowski is one of them. On Oct. 16 we called this the Misiorowski spot. Chourio is the other.

Why the Brewers spot

That Oct. 16 post, the Misiorowski spot, noted that Chourio was hitting .171 this postseason. Monday was his turn.

The lineup around him on Monday was the opposite of the card board. Every Brewers starter reached base and eight of the nine drove in a run, per MLB.com. Turang, whose two-run single made it 4–0 in the fifth, is on Cosmic Chrome as base #114 and nothing else. Robert Gasser, who threw six scoreless innings on one hit, isn't on the Cosmic Chrome checklist at all. "He's very chill," Turang said of Gasser. "He drives chill, too."

On CSL's board Milwaukee has 9 board hits, and Misiorowski is on 7 of them. Every board hit that isn't his is Chourio's: two solo autographs. Chourio also shares the Star Clusters dual autograph with him. (Those are board hits, meaning card hits on CSL's board. In Monday's game the Brewers had 16 hits, four of them Chourio's.) So the spot is thin and concentrated. That's a good fit if you like sweating two names. It's a poor one if you want depth: on the same board the Dodgers have 34 board hits and the Rays 7.

Context under the feel (receipted only)

The Brewers led 2–0 into the fifth. With two on and two out, William Contreras hit a grounder, Christian Yelich was ruled out on the force, the Brewers challenged, and replay overturned it: bases loaded. Then Turang's two-run single, run-scoring hits from Garrett Mitchell, Cooper Pratt, Sal Frelick and David Hamilton, and Chourio's double. Eight runs, every one with two outs. MLB.com, citing OptaSTATS, says no team in postseason history had seven consecutive batters get a hit until Monday, and that eight two-out runs is the most in any Fall Classic inning.

Milwaukee did it without a home run: the 16th time a team has scored double digits in a World Series game without going deep, and the first since 2014, per MLB.com.
