Chase DeLauter has a hand in both Cleveland ALCS runs, and in Cosmic Chrome the Guardians spot runs through him
Rookie Chase DeLauter homered and scored in the Guardians' Game 1 comeback and drove in their only run in Game 2. In CSL's 2026 Topps Cosmic Chrome Baseball break, he holds 5 of Cleveland's 10 hits.
Lead
In ALCS Game 1, Guardians rookie Chase DeLauter hit an opposite-field solo homer off Drew Rasmussen, then scored on Nathaniel Lowe's go-ahead two-run single in the eighth of a 7–3 comeback win. In Game 2 he lined a two-out RBI double into the right-field corner in the seventh, Cleveland's only run in a 3–1 loss. The series is 1–1 and heads to Progressive Field. If you're claiming Cleveland in Chrome Spot Lab's 2026 Topps Cosmic Chrome Baseball break, you're mostly claiming DeLauter.
Why the Guardians spot
José Ramírez is the name on the Cleveland spot, but in Cosmic Chrome he has no autograph and nothing in CSL's case-hit or variation rows: base, Forces of the Diamond, Launched Into Orbit and StarFractor. The Guardians' hits belong to rookies, and DeLauter has the most of them. He has 8 rows on Topps' checklist, more than any other Guardian, and 5 of the Guardians' 10 hits on CSL's board: both his autos, the Planetarium card, and both base variations.
Both DeLauter autos sit in the Hobby column of Topps' odds sheet. The Stellar Stars auto has no Lunar odds at all, and the Cosmic Chrome auto reaches Lunar boxes only as a Lunar Eclipse refractor. CSL's Cosmic Chrome break runs Hobby, so you're on the right side of that sheet.
Proof under the feel (footprint)
Every row below is printed "Cleveland Guardians, Rookie" on Topps' official checklist and appears on CSL's live team board. Odds are Topps' published Hobby odds per pack for the whole family, the chance of any card from that family, not the chance of this player. Topps notes odds reflect intended configuration and actual contents may vary.

Context under the feel (receipted only)
In Game 2, Cleveland's offense got one swing that landed: DeLauter's double off lefty Ian Seymour in the seventh scored Bailey. The Rays won 3–1, and the series moved to Cleveland for Games 3 through 5, with Game 3 on Thursday at 5 p.m. CT.
Soft CSL bridge (once)
Chrome Spot Lab is a free one-player paper-break simulator. It isn't a live case break: you claim MLB team spots with CSL Points, run a modeled Hobby rip of 2026 Topps Cosmic Chrome Baseball, and see whether your team hits. No real money, no prizes. Physical Cosmic Chrome wax doesn't hit shelves until Nov. 4 (per Topps, subject to change), and it isn't the sim. If DeLauter is your guy before Thursday, the Guardians spot is waiting at Play.
